Christina Constantikes Lawrence, MBA, CLTC

Wealth Management Advisor – Signature Resources Capital Management

Christina’s multigenerational wealth management practice draws inspiration from her 22 years of professional experience in New York City, Silicon Valley, and Madrid, Spain. Working alongside her mother Joan Constantikes, an advisor with Northwestern Mutual (31 years), and her father, George Constantikes, an estate planning attorney (51 years) opened many doors and provided her a solid foundation on which to help families navigate their financial lives.

Her strategic thinking, communication skills, industry resources, and inclusionary approach help guide her team to deliver enduring solutions that support her clients’ best interests and long-term vision.

Christina specializes in multigenerational wealth transfer with a focus on philanthropy. Together with her team, she assesses where her clients are “today” and provides ongoing financial advisory services including tax & estate planning and investment strategies that seek to balance expectations for return and risk inherent to all investing.

As a third-generation Financial Services professional, Christina puts a strong emphasis on facilitating communication between a client’s family members. She enthusiastically encourages her clients to actively participate in important decisions, such as defining a purpose for their family wealth, philanthropic grant-making, and each member’s role in the management of family assets. Particular emphasis is placed on preparing “Next Gen” as stewards of their family’s future.

Christina is an advisory board member for the Institute for Family Governance (IFG) where she supports education and participates in thoughtful conversations surrounding the management of closely held businesses, complex wealth scenarios, asset protection , succession planning and the importance of family governance.

Having lived abroad in Madrid, Spain, Christina is fluent in Spanish. A graduate of The American University in Washington, D.C., with a B.A. in Spanish Studies and Psychology, she also earned her MBA at Thunderbird School of Global Management in Phoenix, AZ.

Christina is a longtime volunteer photographer and planning committee member for “Hedge Fund Rocktoberfest” concerts that feature rock bands made up of financial services professionals and benefit A Leg To Stand On (ALTSO). Founded in 2002, ALTSO is a global non-profit organization that brings life-changing prosthetic limbs and corrective surgery to children with disabilities in developing countries.

Together with her husband, Piers Lawrence, a professional guitarist, she recently relocated from New York City to San Diego, CA, where she enjoys spending her free time traveling the beautiful SoCal coastline, entertaining at home and networking at The University Club in downtown San Diego.

Mark Mowrey, CFA

Chief Investment Officer – Signature Resources Capital Management

With a career in investment research and management spanning nearly two decades, Signature Resources’ Chief Investment Officer, Mark Mowrey, brings a uniquely broad and relevant expertise to the firm. Graduated from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and holding the Chartered Financial Analyst® designation, his roles have ranged from financial journalism and sell-side equity research to the management of multi-billion-dollar investment portfolios.

Having endured several capital market cycles during his industry tenure, Mark has learned firsthand the power of a quantitative methodology, grounded in an approach that fosters continual learning, to impart a beneficial discipline to the investment process. He further believes candid, transparent reviews of investment methods and results nurtures the trust that is required for clients and colleagues to share in the team’s confidence in its work.

Even so, Mark understands that confidence is at best a secondary source of investment success and that hubris and similar emotional states only detract from the investment process. Rather, he believes a methodical approach, grounded in more than a century’s-worth of collective industry knowledge development and evolved to be relevant to the investment challenges and opportunities of today, ultimately will enable the firm to achieve client investment goals.
